Trackspin: Linkin Park - Given Up.
Stuck on their new album again. But then again, not much I can do until I get my laptop up and running again, which should be by next week. Seriously need my stuff back online. Rah.
I'm still amazed and slack-jawed at how immature and short-sighted these little kids can be. It's been a good past few weeks, talking to people and all, as well as attending sessions again. But truth be told, I don't feel a sense of welcome, nor fellowship anymore. I dread that the day we all can't bear to see, could be approaching. That a particular group might be dying off soon.
Isn't leadership a responsibility that you all took up because you all wanted to? Nobody forced you to stand up and go to the front during AGM and yet, so much has seemingly gone amiss and I can truthfully say that the younger ones may need a wakeup call. Where's the cohesion and supporting of fellow leaders by being around for sessions? And there's just a whole damn lot of politics right now, which even I am disgusted with.
Maybe I'm just being critical here and also partially because I've seen the bad side of things here as well. But in all seriousness, I think the bunch of you should snap out of your petty little "ideals" and wise up to the facts of life and the reality you're living in. I guess it's just that I think some of you should stop behaving like kids, though I believe that given a chance and choice, I'd rather you all learn as you grow. However, it seems that nobody has been learning anything from all of these. So perhaps it boils down to some of you having to stop behaving like spoilt little brats.
On a lighter note, Transformers was good and yet, leaves you wanting more. I shall not spoil it for those who have yet to catch it though. =)
Things have been not-so-smooth-sailing but I guess we can pull through it together. Seven months seems to have passed us rather quickly, hasn't it? I love you and nothing's going to change that. =)
Alright, it's time to send Inez down to Beez to work his magic on her, if he's around. Be back online more often soon, once my laptop gets back to workable status.
Update: And so I wound up not sending Inez down to Beez, choosing instead, to go down to some place that has relations to wood, which is also linked to my love for music, due to wood being such an important factor in instruments. =D
And also, happy 18th birthday to Janna Goh Zhewei. =)
