I'm currently sitting at the stairwell to the guardroom. Fries and coke in front of me, duty in 2.5hrs again. Sam was partially right, I find myself asking what the fuck am I doing in camp on a public holiday. But I'm also asking myself why I just did what I did. Sad to say, I don't have any answers to either.

I suppose I've said my mind already.

I'm feeling tired, drained both emotonally and physically, and my feet, shoulders and neck hurt. Definitely a way to make it a memorable experience for guard duty in here. Volunteering for duty, on a public holiday, plus to do what I just did. Once in a lifetime perhaps.
