Trackspin: Jamiroquai - Canned Heat.
I woke up late. Extremely late. So late that I managed to miss basketball completely. Perry, if you read this, I'm really sorry man.. Think the lack of sleep is getting to me. Kind of shows how much sleep I've been lacking lately.
2-1. The big number where adulthood comes into play. So often, people say it as though it's such an important function but it's just going to be a minor celebration for me, though I know most people are having pretty big functions or gatherings for theirs. Darren's having a gathering at his house, someone else is booking a hotel room, Ryan has a place at Chevron's tonight for us. It's amazing really. To me, it's probably just a number, just a year older, not a big deal. I'm just going to keep it clean and simple I guess.
Think I'll be getting a present for myself again this year. New spectacles, as weird as that may sound. Think I'm getting a little tired of my orange/black framed ones. Time for something new with a fresh start I guess. I'll see how things go.
Hmm, think my schedule for this week and next is packed.
Today (12): Supporting Raymond with ED at Youth Park, getting my interconnect from Jaben's maybe, meeting Kel and Iswan at Jurong East at 1830h for Ryan's birthday at Chevrons.
Tomorrow (13): Mass, movie out with Zena maybe, followed by dinner with family.
Monday (14): Booking in for start of deployment.
Tues-Friday (15-18): Deployment.
Friday (18): Maybe out early to change and all, perhaps heading to Timbre, or somewhere else maybe. Don't know if dinner with others will go ahead again at Chomp Chomp once more.
Next Sat (19): Basketball if possible, slack, maybe attending mass, housewarming after that.
Next Sunday (20): Maybe family gathering for the July birthdays. Not sure how that goes about yet though. Have to book-in in the afternoon for duty too I guess so that'll have to fit into plans.
Alright, I shall be off now, gotta go get that particular Rubik's Cube before meeting the others to support Raymond.
got around to thinking @ 12:30 PM
